Full-Time Training - Testimonies

I first heard of the Full-Time Training in 1986 held in Taiwan. However, I was unable to attend the Training until the winter of 1987 for only two weeks. It was an incredible experience of getting into the truth of the Bible and going to the neighborhoods to preach the gospel. After this experience I determined that I would eventually attend the Training for the full term.

As it was, due to certain circumstances, this did not happen until the spring of 1998 when I entered the first term of the Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA). I remember the first morning I had a time with the Lord during the pre-training. Previously, having a time with the Lord in the morning was the most difficult thing in the world to me. That morning, I felt that I had met God face to face. There was the joy of the Lord and His love flooded my being. It has not stopped since. I am now in my third term of the Training. I have never wanted to leave. In the past, subconsciously, God was in the heavens and I was on the earth. We were two separate entities. He was never really involved in my life and because I was such a failure, I was no use to Him in His economy.

Now, after a year and a half of the Training, I can tell you through the classes which are filled with not only the abundant truth from the ministry of Witness Lee and Watchman Nee, but also with the experience of Christ, I have found a wonderfully, intimate Person. He is living and totally involved in my life. Everything I am and do matters to Him. I have learned that God Himself, His very being, is love and light. In His light, I can see what a failure I am but with the light also comes love, the essence of God's nature for me to enjoy.

As a result of finding such a God, I treasure every moment I have spent in the Full-Time Training and look forward to discovering new vistas of experience as I continue in my Christian life.
